CTMF CONDUCTIVITY METER FLUXMETRIC METHOD
CTMF 300
NeoTIM commercialize a device of characterization of the thermal conductivity of isolation materials using fluxmetric method, called CTMF 300.
FLUXMETRIC CONDUCTIVITY METER
The CTMF measures the thermal conductivity of all insulating materials such as polystyrene, polyurethane, mineral wool, terracotta/raw, ceramics, plastics, wood, super insulations and many more.
Our device complies with ASTM C518, ISO 8301and EN 12667.
The principle of CTMF is based on the fluxmetric method of producing a temperature gradient according to the thickness of the sample to be characterized and measuring the heat flow through it.
The temperature difference between the two sides of the sample is applied using thermo-elements that are specifically sized.
The thermal flux is measured by thermopiles according to the mentioned standards. The device is sized to accommodate samples of 300*300 mm and a few millimetres to a few centimetres thick.
